Expo City Dubai To Host 15th Edition Of The Spinneys Dubai 92 Cycle Challenge

Following a record-breaking 2024 season with over 2,700 participants, the Spinneys Dubai 92 Cycle Challenge is set to return in partnership with Dubai Sports Council. The event will once again bring cycling enthusiasts together in Dubai.

The 15th edition of the challenge will be held at Expo City Dubai, with all Build-Up Rides taking place at Al Qudra Cycle Track. This new season promises thrilling opportunities for cyclists to train and compete in various events leading up to the grand finale.

Dubai 92 Cycle Challenge 2025 Open

The main event is scheduled for Sunday, February 23, 2025, at Expo City Dubai. It will also serve as a qualifier for the 2025 UCI Gran Fondo World Series Championship. The top 25% of participants in each age category will qualify for the finals in Lorne, Australia, in October 2025.

Registration for the event has opened alongside the launch of the Aster Pharmacy BIG 5 competition. This competition includes four Build-Up Rides leading to the final 92km race. Cyclists can train and gradually increase their speed on Al Qudra's tracks before the main event.

The schedule for this year's rides is as follows:

Build-Up Ride 1:29th September 2024
Build-Up Ride 2:27th October 2024
Build-Up Ride 3:24th November 2024
Build-Up Ride 4:26th January 2025

Exclusive Benefits for Participants

Cyclists can now register for Dh585 to secure their spot in the Aster Pharmacy BIG 5 competition. The entry fee includes exclusive prizes, leaderboard rankings, series leader jerseys, and a bespoke finisher medal.

The number one male and female riders from each category will receive a yellow or blue jersey, signifying their status as leading riders ahead of each Build-Up Ride. The Team Category also remains, allowing cyclists to compete as squads of six.
