Saudi Arabia's Mohammed Tolu Qualifies For Paris 2024 Olympics
Saudi shot-putter Mohammed Tolu has secured a spot in the Paris 2024 Olympics. He achieved this by breaking the Asian record and surpassing the Olympic qualifying mark with a throw of 21.80 meters at the Madrid meeting, as reported by Saudi Gazette.
Tolu had previously won a silver medal at the Asian Games last summer in Hangzhou, China. He was also very close to clinching the gold medal during that event.
After winning the Asian silver, Tolu made a public commitment to compete in the Paris Olympics. He stated he would continue working towards this goal, which he has now successfully accomplished.
