GameExpo 2024: The Ultimate Gaming Experience Kicks Off This Weekend

The Dubai World Trade Centre has officially become the epicentre of the gaming universe with the launch of GameExpo, a part of the Dubai Esports and Games Festival (DEF) 2024. This much-anticipated event, running until 5 May in Zabeel Halls 5 and 6, promises an action-packed experience for gaming enthusiasts of all ages and levels.

From live gaming tournaments to exclusive game reveals and celebrity gamer meetups, GameExpo has something for everyone. Organized by the Dubai Festivals and Retail Establishment (DFRE), tickets are available for those looking to immerse themselves in the ultimate gaming experience.

One of the highlights includes the Dubai Cosplay Championship, with activities scheduled for 3 and 4 May. The event invites participants to impress a panel of esteemed judges, including @gibmesoju, @m7cosplay, and @sayocoser, with their creative costumes.

Cash prizes await the winners in categories such as Kids, Craft, and Performance, thanks to judges @pufacosplay, @shadowhart.cosplay, and @dreamcherries.cosplay. The Accessibility Arcade, set for 3 May, is another significant feature, providing students of determination with a more inclusive gaming environment. DEF's Play Beyond tournament, happening on 4 and 5 May, is set to be a major draw. It will see renowned esports personalities and gaming influencers like @aboflah, @banderitax, @shongxbong, @jash_dhoka, and @jain_ritik in action. GameExpo is also home to the COMICAVE™ pop-culture experience, from May 3-5. The lounge also serves as a relaxation and recharge zone, complete with an F&B area, and hosts a variety of online and in-person competitions with attractive prizes.
