Gaming enthusiasts are set to converge at the Dubai World Trade Centre (DWTC) for the highly anticipated GameExpo and GameExpo Summit, integral components of the Dubai Esports & Games Festival (DEF 2024). Organized by Dubai Festivals and Retail Establishment (DFRE), DEF 2024 marks its third iteration, continuing its tradition of celebrating gaming culture in grand style from 3 to 5 May in Zabeel Halls 5 and 6.

For a limited time, attendees can avail themselves of a 25% Early Bird discount on GameExpo tickets, with prices commencing at an attractive Dh21.75 for day passes. The festival is designed to cater to gaming aficionados of all ages and preferences, offering a plethora of activities including esports competitions, meet-and-greets with gaming celebrities, and family-friendly challenges. Notably, the Play Beyond influencer showdown is scheduled for the 4 and 5 May, promising an electrifying experience for visitors.

GameExpo features several zones tailored to different interests: the Gaming District for the latest game releases, the Future Zone for the newest in gaming technology, and the Retro Zone for a journey back in time. Additionally, The Narrows serves as a marketplace for artists to display their crafts. The 2024 edition introduces the Family Zone for family gaming fun and Electric Avenue, showcasing a select range of electronic retailers.

Early Bird Offers and VIP Experiences

Early Bird discounts extend across all ticket categories for a brief period. One-day passes begin at Dh21.75, with weekend passes available from Dh44.25. Family packages and VIP tickets offer additional benefits, such as exclusive access to the Play Beyond Influencer Meet and Greet, priority seating, and food and beverage vouchers, with prices starting from Dh89.25 and Dh269.25, respectively.

GameExpo Summit: A Hub for Industry Professionals

Set against the backdrop of DWTC, Zabeel Hall 4, the GameExpo Summit offers a vibrant platform for gaming industry professionals to engage in knowledge-sharing and networking from 1 - 2 May. Tickets for this event have been available since 8 March, starting from AED 134. The Summit promises to be a melting pot of ideas and innovations, featuring talks, panels, an expo area, and a pitching competition for indie developers facilitated by Meet2Match.
