Dubai Active 2024 Unveils HYROX 365 Challenge With New Venue And Fitness Icons

The Middle East's premier health, fitness, and wellness expo, Dubai Active, is set to return from 25th to 27th October 2024. This year, the event will take place at its new venue, the Dubai Exhibition Centre at Expo City. The expo promises an extraordinary experience with the HYROX365 Challenge Powered by GymNation and other engaging activities.

In collaboration with Dubai Sports Council and Dubai Tourism, IEG Middle East organises Dubai Active 2024. The event will host over 600 athletes and fitness influencers from around the globe. More than 38,000 fitness enthusiasts are expected to attend, gaining access to unique fitness experiences. Over 400 leading brands such as Lululemon, REFLO, Optimum Nutrition, The Beemin Lab, and Zumba will showcase their latest products in apparel, equipment, nutrition, and technology.

HYROX 365 Challenge: A Highlight

A standout feature of this year's expo is the world's first-ever HYROX 365 Challenge powered by GymNation. This global two-day fitness competition will test hundreds of athletes with intense physical challenges. On 25th October, GymNation and HYROX will collaborate with the Heroes of Hope Foundation for a special edition of the challenge dedicated to people of determination. Over 50 children and young adults in the UAE will participate, highlighting inclusivity in fitness.

The event also aligns with the Dubai Fitness Challenge (DFC), marking the opening weekend of the city's month-long wellness drive. Ahmed Al Khaja, CEO of Dubai Department of Economy and Tourism, will be present. Attendees can expect non-stop workouts, expert talks, giveaways, and opportunities to meet renowned fitness icons like Leana Deeb, Kayla Itsines—returning due to popular demand—and Courtney Black.

Strength Sports and Combat Competitions

Strength sports enthusiasts can look forward to The Den Lifting Zone by The Den DXB. It will host workshops for those interested in lifting alongside running competitions throughout the weekend. An Olympic weightlifting seminar with Sonny Webster is scheduled for 25th October. Additionally, the Forge Grappling Challenge hosted by Roger Gracie Academy in Dubai and The Forge will offer Jiu-Jitsu seminars and competitions for combat sports athletes aiming to enhance their performance.

Meanwhile, Team Nogueira Dubai will showcase boxing and Muay Thai through their 'Future Champions' tournament. They will also host training sessions and demonstrations. These activities provide a comprehensive platform for both beginners and seasoned athletes to improve their skills.

Yoga & Pilates Studio: Mindfulness Sessions

The Yoga & Pilates Studio at Dubai Active will offer sessions focused on mindfulness and meditation. A special session dedicated to students is planned for 25th October. The Active Arena will feature high-energy workouts including Zumba masterclasses and a special Lululemon Yoga session led by Karina Onga.

Competitive spirits can enjoy the GO Sport: Battle of the Brands on 26th October. Eight performance apparel brands will pitch innovative concepts competing for an exclusive two-month activation in GO Sport stores along with one-on-one guidance from industry experts. This opportunity is open only to Dubai Active exhibitors.

Community Initiatives

Dubai Active 2024 remains committed to inspiring future generations of fitness enthusiasts through its Schools Initiative. This initiative offers free tickets to students encouraging an active lifestyle from an early age. By partnering with schools across the UAE, the event aims to promote health and well-being among youth.
