Belgian cyclist Tim Merlier, representing Soudal Quick-Step, clinched victory in Stage 4 of the UAE Tour 2024, marking his second win in this year's edition. The stage, known as the Dubai Stage, saw Merlier outpacing competitors over a 168 km course. His triumph places him alongside Tadej Pogacar as the most successful rider in the history of the UAE Tour, each boasting four stage wins. Merlier's achievements include victories in two different editions of the tour, a feat unmatched by any other rider to date.
