Abu Dhabi To Host 2024 FIM World Supercross Championship Finale

Abu Dhabi will host the final race of the 2024 FIM World Supercross Championship on 4 December at Etihad Arena, Yas Island. This announcement was made by SX Global, the official promoters of the FIM World Supercross Championship (WSX). The event will coincide with the Formula 1 Abu Dhabi Grand Prix, making it a significant week for motorsport fans.

The WSX has grown since its pilot season in 2022, expanding into new markets in 2023. German motorcycle star Ken Roczen won his second WSX World Championship title, while Britain's Max Anstie secured the SX2 World Championship crown. Last season, Abu Dhabi hosted WSX and attracted global crowds with thrilling races featuring Roczen, Joey Savatgy, Dean Wilson, and Vince Friese.

Exciting Double-Header Week

This year's event is expected to draw an international audience again, taking place just four days before the Formula One Abu Dhabi Grand Prix. The full provisional schedule for the 2024 season has been revealed. The campaign will start on 26 October at BC Place stadium in Vancouver, Canada. It will then move to Perth, Australia, on 23-24 November for a double-header event at HBF Park.

After the Australian Grand Prix, the series will head to Abu Dhabi where a World Champion will be crowned on 4 December. Andy Edwards, SX Global Executive Chairman, expressed his excitement about returning to Abu Dhabi.
