Abu Dhabi Entertainment Co. Showcases Inclusivity At Special Olympics Bowling Event

Abu Dhabi Entertainment Company (ADEC) recently hosted a bowling event for over 100 People of Determination as part of the Special Olympics UAE Games. Held at Zayed Sports City, the event was one of six sports featured in the inaugural games.

Over three days, 105 athletes from 13 clubs and centres participated at Khalifa International Bowling Centre. The event saw more than 600 athletes competing across various venues in Abu Dhabi. Supporters cheered on participants, fostering a sense of community and teamwork among those with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

Strategic Collaborations and Community Engagement

Noura Al Hammadi, General Manager of ADEC, expressed pride in the athletes, supporters, staff, and volunteers. She said: "We congratulate all of the athletes who participated in the UAE Games, as well as their supporters and the staff and volunteers who made this event so memorable. ADEC also engages People of Determination through Zayed Sports Academy by offering inclusive courses. The organisation hosts regular activities for underserved populations via entities like Zayed Higher Organization and Mubadala Foundation.
