Verstappen Outshines Norris For His Fourth Spanish Grand Prix Victory
Max Verstappen secured his fourth Spanish Grand Prix victory in Barcelona, extending his lead in the F1 driver's championship. Starting second on the grid after Lando Norris clinched pole position in the final moments of qualifying, Verstappen quickly overtook the McLaren driver.
George Russell made a remarkable start, racing around the outside to take the lead into the first corner, gaining three places in the process. However, Verstappen soon reclaimed his position at the front, executing a flawless overtake on Russell and maintaining control for the remainder of the race despite a late push from Norris.

Lewis Hamilton finished third for Mercedes, marking his first podium of the season. His teammate, Russell, ended up in fourth place, helping Mercedes close the gap to McLaren and Ferrari in the constructors' championship. Charles Leclerc and Carlos Sainz experienced another challenging afternoon on the track.
Sergio Perez, Verstappen's teammate, finished eighth after starting 11th due to a three-place grid penalty from the Canada Grand Prix. This result earned him four points.
