Jeddah Hosts Historic Final Round Of World Rally Championship With Saudi Rally 2025
The World Rally Championship (WRC) is set to make its debut in Saudi Arabia with the "Saudi Rally 2025," supported by Jameel Motorsports. This significant event, running until November 29, is under the Ministry of Sport's supervision and organized by the Saudi Automobile and Motorcycle Federation. The Saudi Motorsport Company is promoting this landmark occasion.
Prince Abdulaziz bin Turki bin Faisal, Minister of Sport and President of the Saudi Olympic and Paralympic Committee, expressed gratitude for the leadership's support. He stated: "The generous and unwavering support provided to the sports sector by our wise leadership is the primary driver behind the sector’s distinguished achievements and rapid progress. The Kingdom’s hosting of the World Rally Championship is an extension of the series of successes that have firmly established the Kingdom’s position on the global sports map."

The rally will feature 17 stages over four days, with 82 drivers and co-drivers from 25 different countries competing. Participants will navigate a diverse route covering a total distance of 1,218 kilometers, including 319 kilometers of timed sections. This event aims to showcase thrilling performances from all competitors.
Hosting this prestigious rally aligns with Saudi Vision 2030's goals to attract major international events. It highlights Saudi Arabia's growing influence in global sports. The event reflects efforts to enhance the Kingdom's reputation on the world stage through strategic initiatives.
