Team Abu Dhabi Plans Strong Comeback At F1H2O Sardinia Grand Prix

As the Regione Sardegna Grand Prix of Italy approaches, Team Abu Dhabi's Manager, Guido Cappellini, announces that his racers, Thani Al Qemzi and Alberto Comparato, are gearing up for a robust comeback in the 2024 UIM F1H2O World Championship. Following a challenging start to the season, the team is optimistic about their prospects in Olbia, backed by an intense three-day testing session in San Nazzaro under conditions mimicking the upcoming race environment.

Cappellini, a distinguished figure in the racing world with 17 world championship titles to his name since 2015, highlighted the importance of the Sardinian circuit. He recollects Al Qemzi's victory two years ago on this challenging track and emphasizes the extensive preparation undertaken to ensure both drivers are at their peak for the weekend's events. "We aim to leverage Thani's experience and Alberto's youthful energy, fostering a supportive team dynamic that we believe will yield positive results," he stated.

Abu Dhabi s F1H2O Sardinia Comeback

The F1H2O series resumes in Sardinia after an eleven-week hiatus, with the Team Abu Dhabi duo looking to shake up the leaderboard. Currently, Erik Stark of the Victory Team leads the drivers' title race, closely followed by Jonas Andersson and Stefan Arand of Team Vietnam, who are making their mark in the team standings. Al Qemzi, with a commendable history of ten Grand Prix victories and over 1,000 career points, is keen to leverage his extensive experience to climb the rankings, starting with a strong performance in Saturday's qualifying sessions.

Comparato, in his inaugural season with Team Abu Dhabi, seeks to draw inspiration from Cappellini's illustrious career and his successful racing history in Sardinia. With the guidance of Cappellini, the team is hopeful that their strategic preparations and mutual support will propel them forward in the championship standings. As the weekend approaches, both drivers are determined to make a significant impact and navigate their way back to the forefront of the competition.
