The team also celebrated consecutive wins in the Driver and Co-driver Championships in 2017 and 2018.
Besides his rally successes, Wilson's prowess extends to overseeing technical partnerships with prestigious automotive brands like Bentley Motors and Jaguar, contributing to the development of high-performance race cars and electric motor sport ventures.

This position involves close collaboration with FIA Commissions and national sporting authorities, ensuring the sport's continued growth and appeal to fans, drivers, and teams worldwide.
Upon his nomination, Wilson said, "Having started my career in motor sport in the 1970s as a driver and then technical partner to teams, it is a great honour to be nominated for the role of FIA Deputy President for Sport," he stated.
FIA President Mohammed Ben Sulayem praised Wilson's extensive experience and achievements in motor sport, stating, "Malcolm has had a distinguished career in global motor sport." Ben Sulayem's endorsement highlights Wilson's potential to drive innovation and growth in motor sport, benefiting the sport's diverse stakeholders.
