Ramadan: Lusail International Circuit Unveils Special Events For Motorsport And Cycling Enthusiasts

Qatar's Lusail International Circuit, host for the prestigious motorsport events like Formula 1, MotoGP, and the World Endurance Championship, has announced a series of exciting activities during the Holy Month of Ramadan. The circuit has unveiled a schedule that caters to both driving and cycling enthusiasts, promising an immersive experience on its famous 5.38km track.

For those passionate about motorsports, LIC presents an opportunity to drive on the acclaimed circuit under expert supervision. The Car Track Days event is scheduled for Thursday, March 20th, from 7:30 pm to 11:45 pm.

Participants will be split into two groups, each getting to enjoy three 20-minute sessions, amounting to a full hour of exhilarating track time. The nighttime track access comes with an entry fee of QR900 per vehicle, plus QR250 for any passengers. Those interested in daytime access should await further pricing details. Registration is compulsory and can be done through LIC’s official portal.

Following the car event, LIC will host a Motorcycle Track Day on Friday, March 21. This event gives riders the chance to tackle all 16 turns of the circuit, honing their skills on the same track that has been a staple of the MotoGP calendar since 2004. Like the car track day, this event will also run from 7:30 pm to 11:45 pm, with entry set at QR900 per motorcycle for nighttime sessions. Again, riders must register in advance through the official website.

In collaboration with the Qatar Cycle Federation, LIC is extending its offerings to include cycling events. The schedule features a Mixed Cycling Day on Friday, March 15, 2025, from 6 pm to 8:30 pm, followed by the QCF-LIC Ramadan Cycling Individual Time Trial at 9 pm.

A Ladies Cycling Day is also planned for Monday, March 25 from 6 pm to 8:30 pm. For these events, participants will need to present their Qatar ID for on-site registration. The Individual Time Trial on March 15 is a competitive event aiming to crown the fastest cyclist on the circuit.

The diverse activities planned by LIC not only provide a platform for motorsport and cycling enthusiasts to indulge in their passions but also reinforce the circuit’s status as a premier venue for sports and entertainment. By opening its track to the public, LIC will allow individuals to experience the thrill of professional racing and cycling in a controlled and professional environment.
