Tetr College Secures $18 Million Funding Round To Expand Global Campuses In Dubai, Europe, And The US
Tetr College, a pioneering global school, has successfully closed an $18 million funding round. This round was co-led by Owl Ventures and Bertelsmann India Investments (BII). The funds will support the establishment of new campuses in the United States, Europe, and Dubai. Additionally, Tetr aims to expand its 10-country network across North America, Europe, the Middle East, Asia, and Africa.
The funding will also enhance Tetr's academic offerings. New programmes in management and entrepreneurship are planned, including the recently launched Masters in Management and Technology (MiM-Tech). With backing from Owl Ventures and Bertelsmann, Tetr will leverage a global network of education leaders such as MasterClass and Newsela to strengthen its global presence.

Founded in 2024 by Pratham Mittal, Tetr College offers a unique undergraduate program based on a 'Learn by Doing' model. Students launch ventures across continents while studying at leading universities like IIT (India), NUS (Singapore), and Cornell (USA). The faculty includes professors from Harvard, Stanford, MIT, and Cornell, alongside top executives from NASA and Softbank India.
Pratham Mittal highlighted that Tetr was designed as a global school for entrepreneurship. "This round validates our model," he said. "We now move into the next orbit of growth with high-tech campuses in the US, Europe, and Dubai." The expansion will deepen the model and widen academic pathways for students.
Tarun Gangwar, Co-Founder and COO of Tetr College, emphasized that this fundraise marks a significant leap in Tetr's global scale-up. "Our focus will be on building robust processes for academic delivery," he said. This includes partnerships, career outcomes, and student services to ensure consistent quality across all locations.
Pankaj Makkar from Bertelsmann India Investments highlighted the importance of evolving education models. "As AI reshapes jobs and industries," he noted, "education must become multicultural and adaptive." He expressed excitement about partnering with Pratham Mittal to build this global education platform from India.
Tetr has experienced strong growth in its second year. Applications have risen by over 50 percent. The college increased intake to 200 students from 50 countries while maintaining an acceptance rate of about 2.6 percent. Many admits chose Tetr over offers from prestigious institutions like King's College London and University of Washington.
The inaugural cohort of 110 students launched 44 ventures in their first year. These ventures generated more than $324,000 in combined revenue. Several students also secured external investments for their projects.
Tetr's innovative approach continues to attract top talent globally. With new campuses on the horizon and expanded academic offerings, it is poised for further growth in the coming years.
