Redbrick Collaborates With MDX Dubai Innovation Hub To Enhance AI Education And Research
Redbrick, a prominent name in software education services, has entered into a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with Middlesex University (MDX) Dubai Innovation Hub. This agreement, signed on October 16 at GITEX GLOBAL 2025 in Dubai, focuses on advancing artificial intelligence (AI) education and research.
The MDX Dubai Innovation Hub is situated in Dubai's Knowledge Park. It serves as a platform for collaboration between industry and academia, promoting education and entrepreneurship. The hub connects students and businesses to work on practical projects in AI, data science, and digital transformation.

The partnership will see both organisations working together to enhance AI education and research. They plan to introduce AI internship programs, conduct joint workshops, special lectures, and hackathons. Additionally, they aim to develop a global education ecosystem through knowledge exchange.
Redbrick will play a crucial role by supporting MDX Dubai students in engaging with real-world projects. This will be achieved using Redbrick's AI content creation platform and educational AI agent technology.
Present at the signing ceremony were Professor Cedwyn Fernandes, Pro-Vice Chancellor of Middlesex University and Director of MDX Dubai; Professor Fehmida Hussain, Deputy Director of MDX Dubai and Head of MIH; Doctor Jeongsoo Han and Doctor Engie Bashir, Co-Chairs of MIH; along with Redbrick CEO Yeongmo Yang and Co-founder Kwangyong Lee.
CEO Yeongmo Yang expressed intentions to broaden partnerships with global educational institutions. "Beginning with our collaboration with MDX Dubai, we plan to expand partnerships with global educational institutions and establish a model where AI technology makes practical contributions to the education sector," he stated.
Redbrick is among the companies chosen for Abu Dhabi's Hub71 initiative. Through this agreement, they aim to extend cooperation with local universities and institutions across the UAE. The goal is to nurture AI talent while strengthening industry-academia collaboration within the region.
This partnership marks a significant step towards integrating AI into educational frameworks. By combining resources from both entities, there is potential for substantial advancements in how AI is taught and applied in real-world scenarios.
