Yuvraj Vijan Reflects On His Acting Debut In Jigra And Praises Director Vasan Bala

Yuvraj Vijan, a newcomer to acting, has recently stepped into the spotlight with his role in the eagerly awaited film Jigra. He expressed deep admiration for his director, Vasan Bala, describing him as both a "brilliant director" and an "amazing human being." Yuvraj, who portrays Tony Bhatia in the movie, shared insights about working alongside renowned stars like Alia Bhatt and Vedang Raina.

Yuvraj emphasised how crucial a supportive environment is for an actor's performance. He believes that the director significantly influences this atmosphere. "As an actor, you need an environment that's conducive for you to give your best. For that, the props only go to the director, I feel. The set is conducted according to the temperament of the director, and this set was honestly so nice and so brilliant," he explained. "Everyone was so understanding, the whole direction team was so helpful, and that really, really helped me a lot."

The young actor also highlighted Vasan Bala's adeptness at handling on-set challenges. "I saw many times how Vasan Sir knew how to get around things, you know. If there was something not working, he knew how to overcome the hiccups and still get what he needed out of the scene. That's an exceptional quality that I think comes only with experience and I hope to inculcate it in my work and become a better actor," Yuvraj noted.

Reflecting on his debut project, Yuvraj commended Vasan Bala's leadership skills and the positive atmosphere he fostered during filming. "I think it was brilliant work from Vasan Sir because he's not just an excellent director, but also an amazing human being," Yuvraj said. "He made it easy for me to give my best because he was patient. He knew it was my first project, and the environment he created on set—not just for me but for every actor—was conducive."

In Jigra, Yuvraj plays Tony Bhatia, who encounters Ankur (Vedang Raina) while facing danger and is later saved from prison by Satya (Alia Bhatt). Critics have lauded Yuvraj's performance alongside Alia Bhatt's portrayal of Satya. Their dynamic interaction and strong screen presence have been particularly praised.

As Yuvraj looks back on his first film experience, it's evident that working with Vasan Bala and a talented cast has been invaluable for his budding career in cinema. With more projects ahead, audiences are likely to follow this promising actor closely.
