On September 26, ZEE5 Global is slated to release the Malayalam film, Sumathi Valavu, a blend of horror and comedy that captures the essence of South Asian storytelling.

This feature, directed by Vishnu Sasi Shankar, showcases a diverse cast, including Arjun Ashokan, Gokul Suresh, and Saiju Kurup. Notably, it will cater to a broader audience by offering versions dubbed in Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, and Hindi.

The Plot

The plot centers around a notorious curve in Kerala, famously dubbed 'Sumathi Valavu’, named after Sumathi, a young woman whose untimely death has left the bend rumoured to be haunted. This curve becomes the focal point of the story as characters experience unsettling supernatural phenomena, weaving a tale that intricately blends myth with reality and intertwining elements of sorrow and fear.
