Yudhra Box Office Collection Day 4: Siddhant Chaturvedi's Film Experiences Major Decline In Earnings

Siddhant Chaturvedi has consistently showcased his versatility and talent in Bollywood. Since his debut in "Gully Boy" alongside Ranveer Singh, Siddhant has appeared in several notable films, captivating audiences with his acting skills. His latest project, "Yudhra," an action thriller directed by Ravi Udyawar, is currently making waves. The film also stars Malavika Mohanan, Raghav Juyal, Gajraj Rao, Ram Kapoor, Raj Arjun, and Shilpa Shukla.

The storyline of "Yudhra" centres on a young man named Yudhra, portrayed by Siddhant Chaturvedi. Yudhra struggles with anger issues and is tasked with an undercover mission to dismantle a drug syndicate led by Firoz (Raj Arjun) and his son Shafiq (Raghav Juyal). Although the film received mixed reviews upon release, Raghav Juyal's performance as the main antagonist was particularly noteworthy. This role marks Raghav's second venture into playing a negative character after his appearance in "Kill" alongside Laskhya.

"Yudhra" had an impressive start at the box office, earning Rs 4.5 crores on its opening day. This figure marked the highest opening for both Siddhant Chaturvedi and Raghav Juyal. However, the film faced challenges over its opening weekend as collections dropped significantly on the second day. Specifically, it earned Rs 1.75 crores on Saturday and Rs 2.25 crores on Sunday, bringing the total to Rs 8.5 crores for the weekend.

On its first Monday, "Yudhra" experienced a substantial decline in earnings. According to Sacnilk reports, there was a drop of over 66% in collections compared to previous days. The film failed to reach Rs 1 crore on that day and collected only Rs 75 lakhs. This brought its cumulative box office earnings to Rs 9.25 crores.

Discussing "Yudhra," Siddhant shared with DNA that it is a deeply personal revenge story without any prior reference points. He stated, "It's a very personal story of revenge. We never had a reference." He emphasised that their aim was to create action scenes that appeared raw and authentic rather than just for style or shock value: "No fight or no violence should be just for style or for shock value."
