Yudhra Box Office Collection Day 2: Siddhant Chaturvedi's Film Experiences Significant Decline

Siddhant Chaturvedi has become a notable figure in Bollywood over the past five years. Known for his diverse roles, he is now in the spotlight for his latest film, Yudhra. This action thriller, directed by Ravi Udyawar, also stars Malavika Mohanan and Raghav Juyal. The movie has been eagerly awaited by audiences this year.

Yudhra's screenplay is crafted by Shridhar Raghavan and produced by Farhan Akhtar and Ritesh Sidhwani. The film includes Gajraj Rao, Ram Kapoor, Raj Arjun, and Shilpa Shukla in supporting roles. The trailer intrigued viewers, but the movie received mixed reviews upon release. This project marks Siddhant's first collaboration with Malavika and Raghav's second role as a lead antagonist. The plot follows a young man on an undercover mission to dismantle a drug syndicate.

Yudhra had an intriguing start at the box office due to a special Rs 99 ticket offer on National Cinema Day. According to Sacnilk, it earned Rs 4.5 crores on its opening day. However, there was a significant drop of over 67% on the second day, earning only Rs 1.48 crores. This brought the total collection to Rs 5.98 crores.

The film has been compared to Lakshya's Kill but failed to surpass it on the second day. While Yudhra collected Rs 1.48 crores, Kill managed to earn Rs 2.15 crores at the box office.

Discussing Yudhra, Siddhant shared with DNA that "It's a very personal story of revenge. We never had a reference. Obviously, we knew we had to do something path breaking with the action. It has to look raw and real. We would not do it just for the effect of it. No fight or no violence should be just for style or for shock value. Action always has a purpose behind it."
