Yodha Faces Box Office Hurdle Amidst Shaitaan's Strong Performance

Sidharth Malhotra has been in the spotlight for his recent action-packed performance in "Yodha," where he portrays a valiant soldier determined to confront the antagonists. Recent data from Sacnilk indicates that on its thirteenth day (second Wednesday), "Yodha" garnered Rs 63 lakhs, bringing its total collections to Rs 32.31 crores. The projections for today (fourteenth day/second Thursday) suggest it might face difficulty reaching Rs 50 lakhs. Ajay Devgn's "Shaitaan," released a week prior to "Yodha," appears to be providing stiff competition to Sidharth Malhotra's latest venture. With the release of "Crew," featuring Kareena Kapoor Khan, Tabu, and Kriti Sanon, imminent on March 29, it remains to be seen if "Yodha" can withstand the competitive pressure.

In discussions about the film, Sidharth shared insights into "Yodha's" creation, emphasizing its fictional nature and the liberties taken in developing a new task force narrative. He highlighted the distinct action sequences and his role's physical demands compared to his previous work in "Shershaah." According to Sidharth, "Yodha" presents some of his most dynamic action scenes over the last decade, promising a commercially entertaining cinematic experience.
