Yeh Shaam Mastani: Zeenat Aman Shares Heartfelt Stories From Bollywood's Golden Era

On 8th October 2024, Mumbai witnessed a memorable event that united different generations in a celebration of Bollywood's golden era. The Sri Shanmukhananda Chandrasekarendra Saraswathi Auditorium in Sion hosted the inaugural Carvaan LIVE's Yeh Shaam Mastani. This event honoured the classic period of Bollywood cinema, with the legendary Zeenat Aman guiding attendees through her cherished stories and music that marked her illustrious career.

Saregama Carvaan, known for reviving retro music in Indian households, expanded its reach with Carvaan LIVE. Yeh Shaam Mastani was the first step in this new direction. With Zeenat Aman leading the way, the event combined heartfelt anecdotes from her career, performances of timeless songs, and a tribute to music that is integral to Indian cinema.

Zeenat Aman mesmerised the audience as she shared insights into her Bollywood journey. She recounted experiences from iconic films like "Manoranjan," "Don," "Satyam Shivam Sundaram," and "Qurbani." Attendees enjoyed behind-the-scenes stories about working with directors such as Raj Kapoor and Feroz Khan, her chemistry with co-stars like Amitabh Bachchan and Dharmendra, and amusing tales of on-set rivalries.

The evening also featured a conversation between Zeenat Aman and RJ Anirudh Chawla, captivating attendees as they reminisced together. To enhance the nostalgic mood, Pragati Nagpal and Pranav Chandran performed live renditions of Zeenat Aman's beloved songs. Hits like "Chura Liya Hai Tumne" and "Laila O Laila," supported by a talented live band, encouraged audience participation, bridging past and present.
