Yash Embraces Real Gold Outfit For Raavan Role In Nitesh Tiwari's Ramayana
Ramayana: Nitesh Tiwari's Ramayana has been a topic of interest since its announcement. With numerous speculations about the cast, it has been confirmed that Ranbir Kapoor will portray Lord Ram, while Sai Pallavi will play Sita. Additionally, KGF star Yash is set to take on the role of Raavan. The film is anticipated to be a major hit due to its impressive cast. Reports have highlighted the project's scale and efforts to bring it to life.
Reports indicate that Yash will wear real gold to embody Raavan. He is also gaining 15 kgs to make his portrayal of the King of Lanka more authentic. A source informed IANS, "The clothes that are being made for Yash are in real gold. Actual gold is being used because Ravana was the king of Sri Lanka and it was a golden province at that time." Additionally, a massive set resembling 'Sone Ki Lanka' is being constructed.

Directed by Nitesh Tiwari, this extensive project has a budget of INR 835 crores. According to Pinkvilla, the film, initially planned as a trilogy, will now be a two-part saga. The shooting schedule spans 350 days, with the first part expected to release by the end of 2025 or 2026.
