Yami Gautam Undergoes Army Training For Action Sequences In Article 370
Yami Gautam's latest film, "Article 370," has captivated audiences globally with its intense narrative and action-packed sequences. Set against the picturesque backdrop of Kashmir, the movie showcases Gautam in a role unlike any she has undertaken before. As officer Zooni, her portrayal has garnered acclaim, marking her debut in performing high-octane stunts on the silver screen.
The preparation for her role was no small feat. Yami underwent extensive training under the guidance of Military Advisor, Lt Col Keshvendra Singh (Retd), and Weapon Training Instructor Bhushan Vartak (NSG). This rigorous regimen was crucial for her to embody the character authentically. "This is the first film in my life where I have got to do action and stunts. Especially weapon combat and engagement. I was excited because actual Army Personnels trained me," Yami shared about her groundbreaking experience.

Yami's dedication to mastering the physical demands of her role was evident. She expressed the importance of precision in both action and expression, stating, "It is not only about the weapon, even your gaze has to be on point. Cinematically it has to come across correctly." Her commitment to authenticity and desire to meet the expectations of her trainers and directors underscored her passion for the project.
