Yami Gautam's Article 370 Nears Rs 30Cr Mark Despite Box Office Challenges
Yami Gautam's latest film, "Article 370," has been making waves at the box office, drawing attention for its portrayal of the 2019 abrogation of Article 370 in Jammu and Kashmir. The actress stars as an intelligence officer in this political action thriller, which also features Priyamani, Skand Thakur, Ashwini Kaul, Vaibhav Tatwawadi, Arun Govil, and Kiran Karmarkar in significant roles. The film opened to positive audience reviews and has shown impressive box office performance since its release.
The movie kicked off with a strong start, earning Rs 5.9 crores on its opening day. Over the opening weekend, "Article 370" continued to perform well, crossing Rs 22 crores and achieving the highest single-day collection of Rs 9.6 crores on Sunday (day 3). However, the film experienced a significant drop in earnings on its first Monday (day 4), bringing in Rs 3.25 crores, according to Sacnilk. This decline brought the total collection to Rs 26.15 crores.

Despite the dip in earnings on Monday, expectations were set for "Article 370" to experience another decrease in revenue on Tuesday (day 5), with projections estimating earnings between Rs 2.5-3 crores. This would bring the film closer to the Rs 30 crore mark.
Yami Gautam expressed her gratitude towards the audience for their overwhelming response to "Article 370." In a heartfelt social media post, she shared her appreciation for the support and love received for the film. Despite initial skepticism regarding the film's technical and political content, Gautam highlighted that the positive reception proved naysayers wrong. She thanked fans for embracing the film with open arms and emphasized her gratitude towards their support.
