WondLa Animated Sci-Fi Fantasy Series Set To Launch On Apple TV+ In June 2024

WondLa Release Date & Time: Fans of animated films and science fiction series have something exciting to look forward to on Apple TV+. The upcoming release is WondLa, an animated sci-fi fantasy television series. Developed by Bobs Gannaway and produced by Skydance Animation, WondLa is based on Tony DiTerlizzi's books: The Search for WondLa, A Hero for WondLa, and The Battle for WondLa.

WondLa follows the journey of Eva, a spirited teenager whose life takes a dramatic turn on her 16th birthday. After her bunker is attacked, she finds herself on the alien planet Orbona, devoid of humans. Teaming up with Otto, a giant tardigrade, and Rovender, a grumpy alien, Eva sets out to find other humans on this strange new world. With the buzz around WondLa growing, many are curious about its release time.

WondLa is scheduled to premiere on Apple TV+ on June 28, 2024. Reports suggest that it will be available at around midnight. Additionally, it is expected to premiere in India at approximately 6 am.

The series features voice talents such as Jeanine Mason, Teri Hatcher, Brad Garrett, Gary Anthony Williams, Chike Okonkwo, D.C. Douglas, and Alan Tudyk. Jeanine Mason shared her enthusiasm about working on the series: "I was sweating and jumping and truly labored". She added that the collaborative nature of creating an animated series was a unique experience compared to on-camera work.

Mason elaborated further: "The amazing thing about getting to do an animated series is it takes so long to make and it's wildly collaborative - more so than on-camera stuff. It's pieced together over time; when they didn't know what would happen, we would figure it out together sometimes".

With its intriguing storyline and talented voice cast, WondLa promises to be a captivating addition to Apple TV+'s lineup. Fans are eagerly awaiting its release to dive into Eva's adventures on Orbona.
