Celebrated filmmaker Madhur Bhandarkar, known for his impactful films that explore societal truths, is venturing into Bollywood's inner circle. This time, his focus shifts from the stars to their spouses, promising a fresh perspective.

Bhandarkar's upcoming project, 'Wives of Bollywood,' aims to reveal the hidden aspects of the lives led by Bollywood star wives. The film will delve into themes of scandal, gossip, power dynamics, and opulent lifestyles.

With over 20 years in the industry and a knack for addressing social issues through cinema, Bhandarkar's new venture is anticipated to provide an insightful look at the entertainment world's social scene. His previous works like Chandani Bar and Fashion have set high expectations.

"There is a lot of speculation around the lives of Bollywood star wives, the aim is to bring these untold stories inspired by real incidents, on big screen," stated Madhur Bhandarkar. His commitment to authenticity continues with this project.

Producer Pranav Jain expressed excitement about working with Bhandarkar again after their successful collaboration on India Lockdown. Jain noted that the film's subject matter is particularly intriguing due to public curiosity about celebrity wives' lives.

The film is a joint production by Bhandarkar Entertainment and P J Motion Pictures. It is slated to begin filming early next year, adding anticipation for its release among Bollywood enthusiasts.
