Why Didn't Janhvi Kapoor Take MS Dhoni's Jersey No 7? Mr. & Mrs. Mahi Actress REVEALS Secret 'No One Should...
Janhvi Kapoor, who is playing the role of Mrs. Mahima in the movie Mr. & Mrs. Mahi, has caught the attention of fans for not wearing MS Dhoni's iconic No. 7 jersey. Instead, she can be seen donning the No. 6 jersey both in the movie and during its promotion. However, there is a special reason behind this decision.
During an "Ask me anything" session on Instagram just before the release of the movie's trailer, a fan asked Janhvi why she wore the number 6 on her outfits for promotions and what the myth behind it was. In response, Janhvi explained that when they were deciding on her jersey number for the film, they realized that No. 7 should only be reserved for Dhoni sir out of respect.

Janhvi further elaborated, "When we decided, Sharan Sharma, me, and all of us, what my jersey number should be in the film, we realized that out of respect, '7' should only be Dhoni sir's number, and we should pick another one." She added that six is her lucky number and expressed hope that it would bring her luck in the movie.
Therefore, in Mr. & Mrs. Mahi, Janhvi Kapoor's character Mahima wears the No. 6 jersey while Dhoni's real-life jersey number remains 7. Janhvi emphasized that Dhoni sir's jersey number is and should always be 7, stating that no one should or can take that number.
This decision by Janhvi Kapoor showcases her respect for MS Dhoni and his iconic jersey number. It also adds an interesting element to her character in the movie, making it even more intriguing for the audience.
