Former Maharashtra Assembly member Baba Siddique was tragically shot and killed outside his son Zeeshan Siddique's office in Bandra East, Mumbai. The incident involved three shooters. Police have arrested two suspects, Gurmail Baljit Singh, 23, and Dharamraj Kashyap, 19. The third suspect, Shiv Kumar Gautam, and an alleged handler remain at large. Baba Ziauddin Siddique was married to Shehzeen Siddique, with whom he had two children: Arshia and Zeeshan Baba Siddique. Shehzeen is not active on social media, and reports suggest her real name is Alka Bindra. She is the sister of Ranjit Bindra and converted to Islam to marry Baba Siddique.

Baba Siddique's son, Zeeshan Siddique, is the youngest MLA in the Maharashtra Assembly. Representing the Vandre East constituency, Zeeshan earned a Master's degree in Global Management & Public Leadership from Regent University London. After completing his studies, he joined Congress and contested elections in 2019.

Arshia Siddique, daughter of Baba Siddique, is both a doctor and an entrepreneur. Although she briefly ventured into politics, she later pursued a career in medicine. Arshia co-founded Skrite Labs and serves as CEO of Shopease Techsoft Private Limited. Additionally, she owns Kunafa World cafe located in Bandra.

Following Baba Siddique's death, numerous Bollywood celebrities visited Lilavati Hospital to pay their respects. Zeeshan has since brought his father's body back to their family home.
