Baba Siddique was tragically shot outside his son Zeeshan Siddique's office in Mumbai. The NCP leader succumbed to his injuries while receiving treatment at Lilavati Hospital. Reports indicate that Baba Siddique was rushed to the hospital immediately after the incident. Vidya Chauhan, another NCP leader, confirmed his death to the media. His body was later transported from Cooper Hospital to his home, with his son Zeeshan accompanying it.

Zeeshan Siddique, Baba Siddique's son, is a prominent political figure in Maharashtra. Known as the "Youngest MLA of Maharashtra," he represents the Vandra East constituency in Mumbai. Zeeshan holds a Masters degree in Global Management & Public Leadership from Regent's University London. After completing his education, he joined the Indian National Congress and has been serving as an MLA since 2019.

Zeeshan often shared photos with his father during Eid and Iftar celebrations on social media. On Instagram, he uses the handle @zeeshansiddique and goes by the full name Zeeshan Baba Siddique. The father-son duo was known for their close bond and public appearances together.

Following the sudden loss of his father, Zeeshan informed everyone about the burial arrangements through Instagram. He posted, "Inna lillahi wa Inna ilayhi raji'un. With Immense Grief, We inform you that Our Beloved Shri. Baba Siddique, Father of MLA Shri. Zeeshan Baba Siddique & Dr. Arshia Siddique & Husband of Mrs. Shehzeen Siddique has left for his Heavenly Abode."

The announcement detailed that Namaz E Janaza would take place on October 13 at 7 pm after Magrib Namaz at Maqba Heights, Pali Road, Bandra(W). The burial was scheduled for 8:30 pm at Bada Kabarastan, opposite Marine Lines Station.

This tragic event has deeply affected Zeeshan and his family as they mourn the loss of a beloved father and husband. The community also shares in their grief during this difficult time.
