Josh App Star Vikas Shakya Clinches Best Fashion Choreographer Of India 2024 Title

Josh, a leading short video app in India, has gained immense popularity and a strong market presence. It offers creators a platform to display their talents while providing entertainment. This app has significantly impacted many creators' lives, including 28-year-old Vikas Shakya from Ghazipur, Varanasi.

Vikas, an agriculture student with a master's in Genetics and Plant Breeding from Banaras Hindu University, is also a professional yogacharya. He has won Mr India Icon 2021 and engages in fashion grooming, choreography, and modelling. Vikas began his journey with Josh during the pandemic.

"I was multitalented since childhood but after getting platform like Josh I have shown all the talents like dance singing playing instruments acting mimicry gym and yoga videos," he shared. Transitioning from student to model and creator was challenging due to his farming background in a small town. Winning Mr India Icon and Model of the Year in 2021 marked a turning point for him.

Josh proved transformative for Vikas by enabling collaborations with various brands and boosting his social media profile. A Community Manager at Josh introduced him to the platform, where he actively participated in trends and hashtags. His profile grew steadily, earning millions of fans and brand collaborations.

Vikas's expertise helped him groom aspiring models, establishing him as India's top fashion choreographer and groomer. He won the Best Fashion Choreographer of India award at the India Icon Awards 2024 in Lucknow, presented by actress Mahekk Chahal. Additionally, he received the Most Versatile Creator tag and the Josh Trendsetter Award at an event in Varanasi in 2022.

Besides his own skills and knowledge helped him groom aspiring models and made him the best fashion choreographer and groomer. In fact, he also went on to win the Best fashion choreographer of India award 2024 at India Icon Awards Lukhnow by Mahekk Chahal (Naagin actress). This isn't all. Vikash also got the most versatile creator tag and was also honored with Josh trendsetter award by Josh during an event in Varanasi 2022.

Future Aspirations

Discussing his future plans, Vikas expressed his desire to grow further to support his community and town. He aims to demonstrate that individuals from small towns with farming backgrounds can achieve their dreams. Offering advice to influencers and budding artists, Vikas emphasized seizing every opportunity that comes their way.
