Vidyut Jammwal's Crakk Faces Tough Competition In Opening Weekend Box Office

Vidyut Jammwal, a renowned action star in Bollywood, has consistently demonstrated his prowess in the industry with a series of successful films. His latest venture, "Crakk," a sports action film featuring prominent actors such as Arjun Rampal, Amy Jackson, and Nora Fatehi, has recently been in the spotlight. Despite the mixed reactions from audiences, the film managed a decent opening at the box office but faced challenges during its initial weekend.

The film "Crakk" opened with an impressive collection of Rs 4.25 crores but experienced a significant 49% decrease in earnings on its second day, bringing in only Rs 2.15 crores. This downturn brought the total collections to Rs 6.4 crores by the end of the first Saturday. Projections for the third day (first Sunday) suggest an expected revenue of Rs 1.5-2 crores, aiming to reach a near Rs 10 crores milestone.

Crakk's Tough Opening Weekend at Box Office

However, "Crakk" is not without its competitors at the box office. It is currently facing stiff competition from Yami Gautam's "Article 370" and the Shahid Kapoor and Kriti Sanon starrer "Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya," a science fiction romantic comedy. The presence of these films has intensified the battle for box office dominance, with "Crakk" struggling to surpass "Article 370" in terms of revenue.

In discussing his experience working on "Crakk," Vidyut Jammwal expressed immense satisfaction with the action sequences and his collaboration with the team. He highlighted his relationship with Aditya, a friend and director who views him as capable of extraordinary feats, pushing him to exceed his limits. Jammwal's dedication and enthusiasm for his role in "Crakk" are evident as he describes it as some of his best work in action to date.

The film's journey at the box office reflects the competitive nature of Bollywood releases, where multiple films vie for audience attention each week. Despite its challenges, "Crakk" showcases the talents of its cast and crew, contributing to the diverse landscape of Indian cinema.
