Vidya Balan Addresses Credit For Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 Success Amidst Kartik Aaryan's Popularity

Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 Box Office Collection: The film featuring Vidya Balan, Kartik Aaryan, Madhuri Dixit, and Triptii Dimri has achieved remarkable success at the box office. Within just 10 days, it has crossed the Rs. 200 crore mark. This multi-starrer movie saw Vidya returning to the franchise, generating excitement for the return of the original Manjulika character.

In a recent conversation with Filmibeat, Vidya Balan was informed about a credit dispute among fans when Stree 2 was released. Fans debated which actor was responsible for its blockbuster status. With Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3's release, discussions have primarily focused on Kartik Aaryan's contribution to its success.

When asked if she felt disappointed as a senior actress about this focus on male actors, Vidya stated, "People tend to equate the success of a film with the male actor. If it is female led film then you could end up getting credit for it. But, I think at the end of the day, one has to realise that it is a film that worked. Kartik is fabulous in it and he has worked really hard, and look at him, he is still out promoting it, hats off to him."

"But, I think, we must all develop this awareness that a film is a collaborative process," Vidya continued. She emphasised that everyone involved plays a role in its success, especially highlighting Anees Bazmee's contribution as his films are consistently entertaining. Vidya believes it's crucial to change our perspective on attributing success to just one person.

The movie performed exceptionally well during its second weekend at the box office. On its second Sunday alone, it earned Rs. 18.10 crore. This brought its total earnings over ten days to an impressive Rs. 216 crore.
