Vicky Vidya Wala Ka Woh Wala Video Outperforms Jigra In Box Office Collections

Rajkummar Rao has solidified his status as a box office sensation with his latest film, Vicky Vidya Wala Ka Woh Wala Video. This comedy-drama, featuring Triptii Dimri alongside him, was highly anticipated this year. Rajkummar's previous successes in Srikanth, Mr & Mrs Mahi, and Stree 2 have already won audiences over.

Vicky Vidya Wala Ka Woh Wala Video faced competition from Alia Bhatt's Jigra at the box office. Directed by Vasan Bala, Jigra stars Vedang Raina and explores the deep bond between siblings. The story follows a sister's efforts to rescue her brother from a foreign prison, marking Alia's first collaboration with Vedang Raina.

Both films received mixed reviews upon release. However, Vicky Vidya Wala Ka Woh Wala Video has consistently outperformed Jigra since day one. By the end of its first week, Rajkummar and Triptii's film earned Rs 1.82 crores on day seven, bringing its total to approximately Rs 27.02 crores.

In contrast, Jigra struggled to keep up at the box office. It managed to collect Rs 1.21 crores on its seventh day, resulting in a total of Rs 22.41 crores for its first week.

The trend suggests that Vicky Vidya Wala Ka Woh Wala Video will earn between Rs 1.5-1.8 crores on its eighth day (second Friday), approaching the Rs 30 crore milestone. Meanwhile, Jigra is expected to bring in around Rs 1 crore today, nearing a total of Rs 25 crores.

Although Vicky Vidya Wala Ka Woh Wala Video maintains an advantage over Jigra, the second weekend could potentially shift the dynamics for Alia Bhatt's film.
