Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video Vs Jigra: Who Outperformed At The Box Office On Day 4?
The Bollywood box office is experiencing a challenging phase in 2024, with several high-budget films underperforming. Even movies featuring top actors are struggling to attract audiences. This trend continued last week when Rajkummar Rao and Alia Bhatt's films clashed at the box office.
Both 'Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video' and 'Jigra' premiered on 11th October. Despite some anticipation, they received mixed reviews from both critics and viewers. Since their release, both films have faced difficulties in drawing crowds to theatres.

Rajkummar Rao and Triptii Dimri star in 'Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video,' directed by Raaj Shandilyaa. The film earned Rs 5.5 crore on its first day, Rs 6.9 crore on Saturday, and Rs 6.4 crore on Sunday.
According to Sacnilk, the comedy-drama saw a significant drop on Monday, collecting around Rs 2.25 crore (early estimate). This brings its total estimated earnings to Rs 21.05 crore over four days.
'Jigra,' directed by Vasan Bala and starring Alia Bhatt alongside Vedang Raina, has also struggled at the box office. Despite Alia's popularity, it hasn't reached the Rs 20-crore mark yet. The film opened with Rs 4.5 crore on Friday.
Sacnilk reports that 'Jigra' saw growth on Saturday with Rs 6.5 crore but experienced a decline on Sunday, earning Rs 5.47 crore. On Monday, it collected an estimated Rs 1.50 crore, bringing its four-day total to approximately Rs 17.97 crore.
