Vicky Kaushal's Bad Newz Set To Achieve Highest Opening Day Collection

Bad Newz Box Office Collection Day 1 Prediction: Vicky Kaushal and Triptii Dimri have teamed up for the first time in the comedy-drama Bad Newz, directed by Anand Tiwari. Another good aspect is that Tauba Tauba has already become a rage all across and that song has created a lot of awareness of the film."

Girish Johar further elaborated on his expectations for the film's opening day performance. He mentioned, "So all in all, it's seeming very positive for the film and I really hope it turns into ticket sales in the start and the ticket sales further gives a good word of mouth for the day. Double digit is on the cards provided the word of mouth is good. But it is very dynamic these days. I would be happy if it opens anywhere over Rs 7-8 crores. It can come into double digits provided the word of mouth is there. But over Rs 7-8 crores will be a good solid start."

If Bad Newz manages to collect over Rs 8 crores on its first day, it could become Vicky Kaushal's highest opener to date. His previous best was Uri: The Surgical Strike, which earned Rs 8.20 crores on its opening day.

Vicky Kaushal discussed his experience with comedy in an interview with Money Control. He said, "For any actor, there is this urge to do as many different kinds of roles as possible. Luckily, I got to work in many different genres and was offered diverse roles. I have worked with many different directors, and my personal favorite genre is drama and action. While doing comedy, you get a lot of confidence because you have cracked it. There are many legendary actors like Govinda, Akshay sir, Kishore Kumar ji, and even Diljit (Dosanjh) Paaji. They have been absolutely fantastic at the comedy, and we have also tried our hands at it. So, it is a fun film that you can watch with your family while eating popcorn."
