Vettaiyan Box Office Collection Prediction Day 10: Can Rajinikanth’s Film Reach Rs 5 Crores?

Rajinikanth's 170th film, 'Vettaiyan,' directed by T.J. Gnanavel and produced by Lyca Productions, is facing challenges in the Hindi-speaking regions. This Tamil-language action thriller also features Amitabh Bachchan, marking his debut in Tamil cinema, alongside Rana Daggubatti and Fahadh Faasil. Despite the star-studded cast, the film's performance in the Hindi belt has been less than stellar.

The movie was released on 10th October 2024 across multiple languages including Tamil, Hindi, Telugu, and Kannada. While it initially generated significant buzz, its earnings have primarily come from the Tamil-speaking areas. Recent heavy rains in Chennai have further slowed its momentum at the box office.

On its opening day, 'Vettaiyan' collected Rs 31.6 crore overall, with only Rs 0.6 crore from the Hindi market. The film saw a boost over its first weekend but has struggled since Monday. The Hindi version's earnings have continued to decline each day.

Sacnilk reports that on Friday, 'Vettaiyan' earned approximately Rs 15 lakhs in Hindi markets. This brings the total estimated collection for nine days to around Rs 3.35 crore.

Day-Wise Box Office Collection (Hindi):

The film featuring Rajinikanth and Amitabh Bachchan is struggling to reach Rs 4 crore in Hindi collections at the box office. On day ten, which is the second Saturday, it might see a slight increase and earn between Rs 10-20 lakhs.

The Hindi version needs an additional Rs 1.65 crore to achieve a total of Rs 5 crore by the end of its second weekend—a challenging but not impossible target.

'Vettaiyan' continues to face hurdles in attracting audiences in the Hindi belt despite its impressive cast and initial buzz.
