Vettaiyan Box Office Collection Day 7 Prediction: Can Rajinikanth And Amitabh Bachchan's Film Reach Rs 3 Crores?

Rajinikanth's film, Vettaiyan, has captured significant attention this year. Directed by T.J Gnanavel, this action drama stars Amitabh Bachchan alongside Rajinikanth. Rana Daggubati takes on the role of the main antagonist. The cast also includes Fahadh Faasil, Ritika Singh, Manju Warrier, Abhirami, Dushara Vijayan, Rao Ramesh, and Ramesh Thilak in pivotal roles.

The film marks a reunion for Amitabh Bachchan and Rajinikanth as police officers after over 30 years since their last appearance together in the 1991 film Hum. Notably, Vettaiyan is Amitabh Bachchan's first venture into the Tamil film industry. During its opening weekend, Vettaiyan experienced a surge in box office numbers. However, there was a noticeable decline by Monday. Sacnilk reports that on day 5 (Monday), it earned Rs 22 lakhs and Rs 24 lakhs on day 6 (Tuesday). This brought its total earnings in the Hindi market to Rs 2.76 crores.

The current trend suggests that Vettaiyan is maintaining a steady pace in the Hindi market. It is anticipated to earn between Rs 22-24 lakhs today, nearing the Rs 3 crores milestone. Observers are keen to see if it will gain traction before the second weekend.

Vettaiyan OTT Release Update

Media reports indicate that Vettaiyan may soon be available digitally. It is expected to premiere on Prime Video next month (November). However, an official announcement regarding its OTT release is still awaited from the filmmakers.
