Vettaiyan Box Office Collection Day 4 Prediction: Rajinikanth And Amitabh Bachchan's Film Set To Cross Rs 2 Crores
Rajinikanth and Amitabh Bachchan have reunited on screen after more than three decades, creating a buzz among fans. Their latest film, Vettaiyan, directed by T. J. Gnanavel, marks their fourth collaboration following Andha Kanoon, Geraftaar, and Hum. This action drama also signifies Amitabh Bachchan's debut in the Tamil film industry.
In Vettaiyan, both Rajinikanth and Amitabh Bachchan portray police officers. The film features Rana Daggubatti as the main antagonist and includes a talented ensemble cast with Manju Warrier, Abhirani, Fahadh Faasil, Rohini, Ritika Singh, Dushara Vijayan, Rao Ramesh, and Ramesh Thilak. Despite the high anticipation surrounding its release, the movie's box office performance in the Hindi market has been underwhelming.

On its opening day in the Hindi market, Vettaiyan collected Rs 60 lakhs. The earnings dropped to Rs 40 lakhs on the second day (first Friday). Although it received positive reviews, the film did not reach Rs 1 crore on any single day over the weekend. On its third day (first Saturday), it earned Rs 65 lakhs, bringing its total to Rs 1.65 crores.
Based on current trends, Vettaiyan is projected to earn between Rs 65-85 lakhs today (day 4/first Sunday). If these predictions hold true, the film will surpass the Rs 2 crores mark in the Hindi market by the end of its opening weekend.
The movie faces competition from Alia Bhatt's Jigra and Rajkummar Rao and Triptii Dimri's Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video. Observers are keen to see if Vettaiyan can gain momentum in upcoming days.
