Vettaiyan Box Office Collection Day 11: Rajinikanth's Film Earns Rs 3.89 Crores
The film "Vettaiyan," starring Rajinikanth, has been a hot topic since its announcement. This is due to Rajinikanth's dynamic role and Amitabh Bachchan's debut in Tamil cinema. Directed by T.J Gnanavel, the movie also marks the reunion of Rajinikanth and Amitabh Bachchan after 33 years, generating significant excitement.
Besides the lead actors, the film features Rana Daggubati, Rao Ramesh, Abhirami, Manju Warrier, Ramesh Thilak, Fahadh Faasil, Rithika Singh, and Dushara Vijayan. Their performances have captivated audiences. In "Vettaiyan," Amitabh Bachchan and Rajinikanth portray police officers, while Rana Daggubati plays the main villain.

"Vettaiyan" has received positive reviews and maintained a steady box office presence. As it entered its second week, there was a noticeable increase in earnings over the weekend. According to Sacnilk reports, the film earned Rs 25 lakhs on its tenth day (second Saturday) and Rs 30 lakhs on its eleventh day (second Sunday) in Hindi markets. This brought its total earnings to Rs 3.89 crores.
Despite this growth, "Vettaiyan" couldn't surpass Rajinikanth's "Jailer" or Thalapathy Vijay's "The Greatest Of All Time (GOAT)" on its second Sunday. "Jailer" collected Rs 70 lakhs—almost double that of "Vettaiyan." Meanwhile, "GOAT" achieved Rs 1 crore in Hindi markets on day eleven, tripling "Vettaiyan's" earnings.
Upcoming Digital Release
Reports suggest that "Vettaiyan" will soon be available digitally. It is anticipated to premiere on Prime Video in November. However, an official confirmation from the filmmakers regarding this OTT release is still awaited.
