Vedaa's Box Office Journey: Will It Reach ₹20 Cr In Its First Week?
Vedaa Box Office Collection Prediction Day 7: John Abraham's Vedaa has seen a decline in its box office performance. Directed by Nikkhil Advani, the film hit theatres on 15th August, clashing with Stree 2 and Khel Khel Mein on Independence Day 2024. Based on true events, Vedaa features Sharvari, Abhishek Banerjee, Tamannaah Bhatia, and Ashish Vidyarthi. Both Vedaa and KKM are struggling against the popularity of Stree 2. After an extended opening weekend, John's film is finding it hard to attract audiences.
The total estimated box office collection of Vedaa now stands at Rs 16.3 cr in 6 days.

John Abraham plays Major Abhimanyu Kanwar in Vedaa, which received mixed reviews from both critics and audiences. The action-drama earned Rs 6.3 cr on its first day, Rs 2.7 cr on Saturday (day 3), and Rs 3.2 cr on Sunday (day 4). According to Sacnilk, the film saw a significant drop on Wednesday, earning just Rs 80 lakhs on day 6.
Since its release, both Vedaa and Khel Khel Mein have struggled to compete with Shraddha Kapoor-Rajkummar Rao's Stree 2. Given the current trend, John Abraham's film is expected to drop further today (Wednesday) and earn between Rs 20-25 lakhs on day 7. As per Sacnilk, the action-drama has managed to collect around Rs 9 lakhs so far on Wednesday (day 7).
It appears that Vedaa will end its first week in theatres with a total box office collection of less than Rs 20 cr.
The film opened to mixed reviews but managed to pull in some revenue initially. However, it has been unable to sustain momentum against strong competition from Stree 2.
