Vedaa's Box Office Journey Faces Hurdles On Day 5 Against Stree 2

Vedaa Box Office Collection Prediction Day 5: John Abraham's latest film, Vedaa, has been struggling at the box office amidst the popularity of Stree 2. Directed by Nikkhil Advani, this action-drama is based on true events. The movie features John Abraham alongside Sharvari, Abhishek Banerjee, Ashish Vidyarthi, and Tamannaah Bhatia in significant roles. Released on Independence Day 2024, Vedaa faced stiff competition from Shraddha Kapoor-Rajkummar Rao's Stree 2 and Akshay Kumar's Khel Khel Mein. Both KKM and Vedaa are significantly impacted by this three-way clash.

Recently, John Abraham, Sharvari, and Abhishek Banerjee celebrated Vedaa's success with director Nikkhil Advani. Despite its struggle to attract audiences to theatres, the film appears to have recovered its budget.

Vedaa opened to mixed reviews from both audiences and critics. On its first day, it earned Rs 6.3 crore. According to Sacnilk, the film saw a decline in earnings with Rs 1.8 crore on Friday (day 2) and Rs 2.7 crore on Saturday (day 3). The latest Sacnilk report indicates that Vedaa experienced a slight increase on Sunday, earning around Rs 3.2 crore, bringing the total collection to Rs 14 crore over four days.

The competition with Stree 2 continues to affect Vedaa's performance. As per Sacnilk's data, the film has managed to collect only Rs 17 lakhs today (Monday) so far. Given the current trend, it is expected that Vedaa will see a drop in earnings on day five (Monday). However, due to today's Raksha Bandhan holiday, the film is anticipated to earn between Rs 2-3 crore.

Khel Khel Mein has collected Rs 23 lakhs today so far, bringing its total estimated collection to Rs 14.28 crore. It seems unlikely that Vedaa will surpass KKM's numbers today.
