Vasundhara Oswal Arrest: Pankaj Oswal And Family Seek Release Amidst Disturbing Circumstances

Vasundhara Oswal Arrest Update: Vasundhara, daughter of Indian billionaire Pankaj Oswal, has been detained in Uganda. Pankaj regrets sending her there. He and his wife have secluded themselves in a "secret location" while working on her release. What led to Vasundhara's detention? Let's delve into the details.

The Oswal family has isolated themselves due to Vasundhara's arrest in Uganda. They are focusing on securing her release. Riddhi Oswal mentioned, "My parents' hands are tied because they can't even go to Uganda without facing immediate arrest by the highly corrupt officials there." She further explained that Ugandan police have excessive power, allowing arrests without warrants or proper procedures.

Pankaj Oswal's Family in Secret Location Over Arrest

Pankaj and Radhika Oswal have disconnected from the outside world, only communicating with those who can assist them. Riddhi shared, "My parents have essentially locked themselves in a secret location, devoting all their time to fighting for my sister's release. They barely eat more than one meal a day and are surviving on the hope and faith that they can get their daughter free." Pankaj feels guilty for sending Vasundhara to Uganda.

On October 1, 2024, Ugandan police detained 26-year-old Vasundhara Oswal. Reports indicate she was taken by 20 armed men. Authorities claim her detention relates to a missing person investigation. Despite three weeks passing, she remains imprisoned under "subhuman conditions." HT reports state that her arrest occurred without a warrant.

The Oswals own O'Neal Industries (ONI), which invested $100 million in Uganda for East Africa's first grain-based Extra-Neutral Alcohol (ENA) production facility. This connection might be relevant to the situation.

Riddhi expressed concern about her parents' potential arrest if they travel to Uganda. She stated, "If my parents are arrested, they won't be able to fight for my sister, who has essentially been cut off from everything and is already being treated like a convicted criminal." Their absence would hinder efforts to secure Vasundhara's bail.

The family's current focus is solely on freeing Vasundhara from detention. They remain hopeful despite the challenges posed by the situation in Uganda.
