Varun Dhawan Shares Frightening Experience Of Home Invasion By Woman Believing He Would Elope
Varun Dhawan recently shared a frightening encounter on Ranveer Allahabadia's podcast. A woman, deceived by someone impersonating him online, broke into his home. She believed Varun would run away with her. To resolve the situation, Varun had to involve the police.
During the podcast, Varun detailed how this woman entered his house without permission. He explained, "And that lady was the wife of a very powerful man. I can't say what position... but a very powerful man, and she was being catfished. Someone was talking to her using my name. She knew everything about my house, and she thought I was going to leave my family. It became very scary." Eventually, he called in a female constable to manage the issue.

The actor also recounted feeling uncomfortable in public due to fan interactions. He mentioned being forcibly kissed by a female fan and another incident where a fan pinched him. Varun expressed empathy for women facing similar situations, saying, "I feel bad for the women because I straightaway put myself in their position. If this is happening with me, it must be worse with them."
Recently, Varun appeared in Prime Video's Citadel: Honey Bunny directed by Raj & DK. Before that, he starred alongside Janhvi Kapoor in Bawaal under Nitesh Tiwari's direction. Additionally, he made cameo appearances in films like Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani, Stree 2, and Munjya.

The film also stars Wamiqa Gabbi and Keerthy Suresh. Furthermore, two other films are scheduled for 2025: Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari and Hai Jawani Toh Ishq Hona Hai.
