Trisha Krishnan Impresses In 'Brinda', Her First OTT Role Exploring Social Issues
Sony LIV's upcoming Telugu series, Brinda, has generated considerable buzz. The show marks Trisha Krishnan's debut in the OTT space, where she plays a character with profound depth. It addresses critical social issues from a fresh angle, offering a narrative that promises to be thought-provoking. Brinda's character is particularly captivating as she juggles her introverted nature with her role as a police officer, adding complexity to her persona.
Trisha Krishnan explains her character by stating, "More than introverted, Brinda is a certain way because of the pain and trauma she carries from her past. So we tried to convey that through her eyes and many moments throughout the series. She's human, just like any one of us. A human being goes through a myriad of emotions in their journey of life. It was fun because even though she is introverted and stoic most of the time, there are circumstances where the little girl in her comes out, and she has moments of anguish and outbursts."

The series delves into complex themes such as identity and justice. Trisha Krishnan discusses how she approaches such intricate characters: "I approach it with a certain level of pragmatism and what's actually happening in today's time and age." This realistic portrayal aims to deeply resonate with viewers.
The show is written and directed by Surya Manoj Vangala and produced by Ashish Kolla under Adding Advertising LLP. The screenplay is crafted by Surya Manoj Vangala and Padmavathi Malladi. Music composition is handled by Shakthikanth Karthik, while Avinash Kolla oversees production design. Cinematography is managed by Dinesh K Babu, with Anwar Ali in charge of editing.
