This statement came after organisers in Jaipur accused her of missing an event. Videos on social media showed women from a well-known organisation claiming they paid the "Bad Newz" star Rs 5.5 lakh to attend, but she never arrived. One video even depicted a woman defacing Dimri's poster at the venue.

Dimri's team responded, stating she adhered to her promotional commitments and did not agree to any additional events or payments. "During the ongoing promotional campaign for her film 'Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video', Triptii Dimri fully honoured her professional obligations, attending all scheduled events and sessions related to the film," read the statement. "Notably, she did not participate or commit to participate in any personal appearances or events beyond her promotional duties. It's important to clarify that no additional fees or payments were accepted for her involvement in these activities," it added.

Triptii Dimri is set to appear in "Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video" alongside Rajkummar Rao, with its theatrical release slated for October 11. Following this, she will star in "Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3" with Kartik Aaryan and Vidya Balan, which is scheduled for release on November 1.
