Triptii Dimri Celebrates Her First Dance Number Inspired By Madhuri Dixit
Triptii Dimri, a rising talent in Bollywood, is gaining attention for her role in *Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video*. She stars alongside Rajkummar Rao in this film set during the '90s. Triptii plays Vidya, a girl from Rishikesh. Her acting skills were evident in the trailer, and she continues to impress with her performance in the song "Mere Mehboob."
At the song's launch, Triptii expressed her excitement about her first dance solo. She felt grateful for collaborating with artists like Sachin-Jigar, Shilpa Rao, and Sachet Tandon. Ganesh Masterji led the choreography. "This song is really special for me; this is my dancing number. When your first-ever song is composed by Sachin-Jigar, sung by Shilpa Rao and Sachet Tandon, and choreographed by Ganesh Masterji, then what else do you need? I'm very, very thankful, happy, and excited," she stated.

In "Mere Mehboob," Triptii dances in a blue indo-western outfit with background dancers enhancing the scene's energy. The song includes a rain sequence with Rajkummar Rao that echoes classic Bollywood styles. Their on-screen chemistry shines through in this visually appealing performance.
Triptii drew inspiration from iconic '90s Bollywood dances while preparing for her role. She admired performances by Raveena Tandon and Katrina Kaif in "Tip Tip Barsa Pani." Despite initial nerves about her first dance number, Ganesh Masterji's guidance helped ease her worries. "Yes, I had thought of it and watched them while rehearsing. I can't compare myself to them—they are just too, too good. It was great fun to shoot this song. Ganesh sir and his team were brilliant. I was very nervous because it was my first dance number, but he made it so easy for me. He was like, 'Now that you've learned it, just have fun. Don't think about anything and just play,'" she reflected.
Triptii has long admired Madhuri Dixit and grew up dancing to her songs. "Madhuri Ma'am—I'm a huge, huge fan of hers, and I used to dance to all her songs. She has always been my favorite," Triptii revealed. This admiration has significantly influenced her aspirations as an actress.
Looking forward to future projects, Triptii's career shows promise with several films lined up. She will appear in "Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3" and "Dhadak 2," strengthening her presence in Indian cinema. Additionally, she will star in an action drama directed by Vishal Bhardwaj, offering more opportunities to showcase her talent.
