T-Series Co-Owner Krishan Kumar's Daughter Tishaa Kumar Dies At 20

Tishaa Kumar Death Reason, Family Deets: In a saddening turn of events, Tishaa Kumar - T-Series co-owner Krishan Kumar's beloved daughter - passed away last week. Her funeral took place yesterday (July 22) at the Vile Parle Crematorium in Mumbai. Her father and family members conducted her last rites. Several Bollywood celebrities, including Farah Khan, Sajid Khan, Riteish Deshmukh, Jaaved Jaafery, Saiee M. Manjrekar among others, attended the funeral to pay their last respects.

A prayer meet was also held at the Ruby ballroom, Hotel Sahara Star, yesterday afternoon. Kartik Aaryan, Anil Kapoor, and Bobby Deol among others were clicked attending the prayer meet.

Tishaa Kumar had passed away on 18th July 2024 at the age of 20 after her prolonged battle with illness. According to reports, Tishaa was battling with cancer and had gone to Germany for treatment.

Confirming her death, T-Series spokesperson had issued a statement last week which read, "Tishaa Kumar, daughter of Krishan Kumar, passed away yesterday after a prolonged battle with an illness. This is difficult time for the family, and we kindly request that family's privacy is respected."

For those unversed, Tishaa was the daughter of actor-turned-producer Krishan Kumar and Tanya Singh. Born on 6th September 2003, the 20-year-old was the granddaughter of the renowned music composer Ajit Singh.

Tishaa was the first cousin of T-Series head-honcho Bhushan Kumar, singer Tulsi Kumar and actress Khushali Kumar. Tishaa's father Krishan Kumar is the younger brother of music mogul and T-Series founder Gulshan Kumar - Bhushan, Tulsi and Khushali's father.
