Adapted from Kim Ryeo Ryeong's novel, The Trunk centres on Noh In Ji, an employee at NM, a company specialising in one-year contract marriages. After completing four contracts, she begins her fifth with Jeong Won, a music producer grappling with anxiety and loneliness due to past emotional wounds. His late ex-wife Seo Yeon had previously engaged NM's services for him.

As In Ji and Jeong Won adjust to their arrangement, they start forming a connection. However, their lives take an unexpected turn when a mysterious trunk is found in a lake. This discovery entangles them in secrets linked to NM, changing their futures in unforeseen ways.

The Trunk will premiere on November 29, 2024, at 5 PM KST (1:30 PM IST), with all episodes available simultaneously. Each episode will last approximately 60 minutes.

The series can be streamed globally on Netflix with subtitles offered in various languages.

The show also includes significant supporting roles played by Jung Yun Ha and Kim Dong Won. These characters add depth to the unfolding drama within the series.
