The Sabarmati Report Box Office Collection Prediction: Will Vikrant Massey's Film Cross Rs 10 Cr Today?
Vikrant Massey's latest film, 'The Sabarmati Report,' hit theatres on 15th November 2024. Despite the success of his previous film '12th Fail,' this political thriller has faced challenges in attracting audiences. Originally set to be directed by Ranjan Chandel, Dheeraj Sarna took over the role. The movie, based on true events, is produced by Ektaa R. Kapoor and others.
The film, featuring Vikrant Massey, Raashii Khanna, and Ridhi Dogra, revolves around the 2002 Godhra train incident. It had a slow start at the box office with Rs 1.25 crore on its opening day. However, it saw an upswing over the weekend, earning Rs 2.1 crore on Saturday and Rs 3 crore on Sunday, according to Sacnilk.

On Monday, 'The Sabarmati Report' experienced a decline in earnings, collecting only Rs 1.15 crore. This brought its total nett collection to approximately Rs 7.5 crore over four days. Sacnilk reports that the movie's gross earnings in India reached around Rs 9 crore.
The daily earnings for 'The Sabarmati Report' are as follows:
| Day 1 (Friday) | ₹ 1.25 cr |
| Day 2 (Saturday) | ₹ 2.1 cr |
| Day 3 (Sunday) | ₹ 3 cr |
| Day 4 (Monday) | ₹ 1.15 cr |
| Total | Rs 7.5 CRORES! (Nett) |
'The Sabarmati Report' faces stiff competition from films like 'Kanguva,' 'Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3,' and 'Singham Again.' As a result, it struggles to reach the Rs 10 crore mark at the box office. Current predictions suggest that it might earn between Rs 1-1.5 crore today (day five). If accurate, this could bring it closer to achieving a nett collection of Rs 10 crore.
The film's performance highlights the challenges it faces amidst strong competition and fluctuating audience interest.
