The film initially released theatrically in Tamil with dubbed versions in Telugu and Hindi. With the upcoming OTT release on Netflix, there is speculation about its availability in Hindi as well. According to reports, the Hindi version will also premiere digitally on October 3.

Following the success of GOAT, Thalapathy Vijay announced his final film before entering politics. Titled Thalapathy 69 and directed by HVinoth under KVN Productions, it carries the tagline 'The Torch Bearer Of Democracy' and is slated for an October 2025 release.
